NUTCASE IS MAD. then rouhui's contagious laughter! and JASMINE AND PEARLYNNE. still remember last time we went YMCA to do CIP. then we 6 am at orchard MRT station. SUCH A ULU ULU PLACE AT THAT ULU ULU TIME. and in the underpass there were nobody and we heard someone crying, then we started screaming and running can! super freaky at that time but now it seems like a cartoon. haha!

then look at LIUYI AND LYNN! haha! im influenced by them can. although im the MOST RUBBISH WOMAN among them BUT HAIYA! they influence me one what!

then LOOK AT GARY TANG! he super cute can! one day after band i went for bass lessons, then i saw gary tang at the food dispenser.

today we went to some stream at venus drive to collect raw data and study the water life there. oh. and the water there is soooooooooo crystal clear. YAH RIGHT. there was even some pollution there LAH! wth!

so we went to our allocated site there and started off with the geog componet. since we had NO OLD SHOES TO WALK IN THE STREAM, yinci and melissa volunteered to walk in the stream in their very own SCHOOL SHOES.

wow? how i love my teammates. they're oh-so-wei3 da4.

then at first both of them were like :

"omg! there's water in my shoes!" duh. of course right.

"eww! so squishy!"

"yuck! mud mud mud!"

"omg omg! what's that thing in my shoe!!!!!"

"help me!!!"

super funny lah! then me and ling ying were laughin like mad on the bank. then sandy tan came by and asked us to shut up cause we werent supposed to disturb the wild life there.

then we were throwing stuff over the stream to measure the wetted perimeter, the depth, the channel width, and the velocity. which proved to be more difficult then we thought. cause it meant going into the water. HOW'S THAT. and seriously, you dont want to know what's in the water. it's BROWN. ok what do you expect.

but our two beloved melissa and yingci!!!! so wei3 da4! did all the going into the water and stuff! yay! dont we love them!

then came the science component. we WERE SUPPOSED TO CATCH FISHES! and some other marine life animals BUT HOW'S THAT! yay we were given nets but still! we had to go into the water! so ling ying decided to borrow huiming's shoes since HUIMING WAS IN THE WATER BAREFOOTED (when there' plants and grasses and glass maybe?) to go into the water.

then MISS LYE! SHE SO CUTE! she kept coming to see what we caught then she say stuff like: "ooh! you caught a dragonfly nymph! good! excellent! wonderful! marvellous!" when they all mean the same thing! haha!

oh. then we saw a frog. and YINGCI WAS SCARED OF FROGS! so melissa and yingci were like this:

ling ying: "there! the frog is there!"

y: "where!!!!"

s (me) : "behind you! there!"

y: "AHHHHH! WHERE!"

m: "there! yingci! catch it!!!"

y: "dont want! i scared of frogs!!!"

-miss lye comes after hearing our shouts-

-melissa walks up to the frog and tries to catch it. the frog jumps away.-

y: "ahhh! it's after me!!!"

m: "yingci!!!! help me get the frog into the container!"

ml: "careful! afterwards it jump out!"

-then i dunno what happened cause i went to our bags to take my notepad and record our findings and i just heard alot of screaming and shouting and erm ya. and then afterwards somehow melissa manage to put it in a bottle of waterand the frog was DROWNING IN SIDE!-

ml: "PUT A STONE INSIDE ! so that it can breathe!

-but obviously the stone that they put in was too small cause there was too much water. so yingci deicided to open up the container and pour some water out. and guess what. THE FROG JUMPED OUT.-

y: "AHHH! THE FROG!!!!!

m: "AHHH!"

i tell you! the scene was super comical! like cartoon like that!!!!!! ZOMG. SUPER FUNNY CAN! me and ling ying laugh until cannot talk after that lah! HAHA

then in the end the whole river of our section was polluted by us. SO MEAN RIGHT. then got alot of schools pass by and say: " WHY NANYANG GIRLS COME HERE AND POLLUTE THE WATER ARH!" zomg. malu.

we saw pond skaters, half beak, tadpoles, snails, frogs, fishes, and DRAGONFLY NYMPH. the dragonfly nymph is so cute!!!!! then sandy tan managed to find a whole cluster of frog eggs!!!!!!! very nice lah!

after catching all the stuff, ling ying, melissa, huiming, and the other 208 girl whom i forgot her name were washing their feet and shoes in the water. SUPER FUNNY CAN. they "accidentally" splash water on each other arh! haha! then geogina and yingci were standing on the other side of the stream "ADMIRING" the bushes. WOW?

I TELL YOU! LING YING'S LAUGHTER IS INFECTIOUS. she will LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH then SNORT.

like HAHAHAHA! she so funny!!!!

ok then we released everything back to nature. lalala. then we went back to school.

but the highlight of today was:

THIS MORNING'S COPACABANA!

i think our band very zai3!!!!! 3 horns, 3 trumpets, 1 piccolo, 1 flute, 2 clarinets, 4 percussionists, and the whole trombone section.

i think the horns very cute!!!! haha!!! and the trombones! ZAI3 PEOPLE. haha! and christal!!!! zomg she really put off a good show with all the drumset stuff! haha! i think we rawked the whole school this morning man! BAND ROCK ON! haha!

AND MELISSA'S SPEECH! waLIAO! so lame can! got rubber band, rock band and now CONCERT BAND! think we very lame can! haha! then before assembly me and jasmine were like sitting infront of the podium and doing the horns dance!!!!! SUPER AA. haha!

yay! i love band! we're going to rawk the whole VCH on 25th july at 7p.m. man. starting off with a blast!

Lessons from a rubber band

I like rubber bands. Flexibility is important. The ability to stretch yourself to see things from a different point of view. But what's even more important is to know how to take a stand.

No matter how far you stretch them, they always goes back to their original state. They've got character. That does not discount their ability to be flexible. It just means you need to know when to put your foot down, when to decide that you can't take anymore shit.

That is what being a rubber band means. If you keep pulling and pulling and overstretch it, it loses it's properties, and then that's it. Every rubber band has it's breaking point; it is important to respect that. Respect it's limitations, respect it's strengths and that's that. You don't have to like it, but you sure as hell can't change it.

A rubber band is a rubber band. If you want it to change, it just means that you never wanted a rubber band in the first place.

during chinese lesson, we went to the library. then we were supposed to read and borrow chinese books, but after finding three chinese books that looked quite interesting, i dragged sy along with me to find more interesting looking english books.

then i found this series of "a complete idiot's guide to..." =D dumped the whole thing on sy. lol, coming to think about it now, i feel quite bad, it's like treating her like a servant. T.T please accept my sincere apology please T.T

LOL it's all the bao mi hua's fault. who ask the person to go and publish the person that looks SO MUCH LIKE erms, light on it? argh. so we went back and i told lynn that i wanted a anime looking bf. as usual she gave me that weird look.
lol, at first i started to read the public speaking one. it was so... LAME. look at this: a women walked into the doctor with 2 red ears. the doctor asked her why her ears where red. she replied, "i was ironing when the phone rang, instead of picking up the phone, i accientally picked up the iron." the doctor nodded his head and asked why was the other ear red. she simply said, "the phone rang again."

LAME!! (orh im listening to a song that reminds me of the time which i trained in the dungeon in maple as haomitari, O.O random, ohwells back to the "story".) yep, so i got bored and started looking at what lynn was reading and what sy was reading. to my most utter and complete horror, she was reading a complete idiot's guide to dating! dating!!! =screams in mock horror=
so i said, "sy, no point hiding, i noe what you were reading. a complete idiot's guide to dating." lol so she laughed. i didnt know what i was thinking and started to flip to the content page of the book, read and read and polluted my mind T.T then i saw this sentence "is it hot in here, of is it just you?" i started laughing like mad, and i showed lynn the phrase and then she looked at me with that one eyebrow raised way... then i was still laughing like mad. lynn took the book away from me and asked me to better go and read an idiot's guide on how to get an anime looking bf. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA sy looked at me and started laughing also, then lynn looked at how i laughed and started laughing. after laughing for quite a bit, i finally stopped laughing. but i was still vibrating. T.T then li lao shi walked up so i controlled my laughter and pretended to look serious. she asked us if we heard anyone crying, we replied no. me and lynn started looking around, finding no one, i started to get freaked as li lao shi walked away. then i laughed, so i was freaked. then lynn told li lao shi that we laughed just now, so she realised that the crying was actually our laughing. i think it was me, crying like laughter O.O

environmental science is FUN! yesterday we went to bukit timah nature reserve. then walk walk walk, hike hike hike, climb climb climb. very tiring but fun! cause of the NATURE! we saw alot of stuff and it was worth the effort. and the trees are MAGNIFICIENT. like WOW. haha. we took 4 hours to ascend and 1 hour to descend. HOW COOL IS THAT. no lah. the 4 hours consisted of walking round in circles to explore more, hunting for monkeys and snakes and squirrels, looking at plants and walking the longer way. haha.

then sabbaticals today was quite ok i guess.

then band! SIGH. WE DIDNT GET CONCERT TICKETS TODAY. BUT HAHA! i can play glenn miller, ride and ai no corrida properly LE! i feel so accomplished! and the incredibles! SO RUBBISH. CANNOT PLAY THE FAST QUAVER THINGY. sheesh.

today's tuition was RUBBISH! half the time the 5 of us (benjamin, wilfred, wilson, miranda and ME) were inside one room (ok 2 rooms.) SLACKING. then miranda and wilfred (they're married.) in one room, and me, wilson (wilfred's bro) and benjamin in the other room. then the top of the wall separating the 2 rooms got a space. and we were thowing things like CHOCOLATES, SWEETS, PENS, TISSUE, and lots of other stuff over to the other room lah! super funny! HAHAHAHAH.

oooh! then i dunno why i've never noticed before BUT ELLIAS IS SOOOOOO CUTE! he very COOL! and quite mature. COMPARED TO THE SEC SCHOOL MARIS STELLA GUYS. ELLIAS IS PRIMARY SIX OK! ha! and he very cute!!!!

THE THING IS if we have anything we do not disagree on anything, shouldnt we raise it up? but jomain went to "lecture" me instead cause I CARE TOO MUCH ABOUT STUFF AND TOLD ME TO LEARN AND HECK CARE.

that's why i just DONT GIVE A DAMN NOW.

3. i flunked maths overall can. and it's not like I DIDNT PRACTISE OR WHAT. in fact i did MORE ok. and this is what i get lah. i see other people THEY DONT EVEN BOTHER TO GO AND PRACTISE. then WHY SHOULD I EVEN DO SO MUCH IN THE FIRST PLACE. I SHOULDNT EVEN BOTHER. WTH. and ms yeo thinks that i think too highly of myself. IF I HAD THOUGHT TOO HIGHLY OF MYSELF, I WOULDNT EVEN PRACTICED IN THE FIRST PLACE. and then my parents is going to jump into conclusions and say that i dont bother again lah. WTH MAN.

4. feeling feverish after band yesterday, i came home and practically fell asleep on the bed at 9 after bathing. and this morning i got beaten for SLEEPING TOO MUCH. yay man. this is such a nice reason. and i didnt have lunch today cause my dad refused to buy for me and i was punished. yay. what i life i lead. wth.

i still feel feverish and LIFE SUCKS.

despite many funny stuff that happened these few days, i've been feeling like really really down? it's like im just wearing a mask to cover and hide my real emotions and feelings. like raawr. what's my problem.

and why i've been sad?

1. the people around me are sad. ok SOME OF THEM

2. school is like &$%#&. there's nothing to look for in school accept friends and band.

3. i feel tied down. i cant do anything i want at home. i cant vent my anger and I CANT EVEN LISTEN TO PUNK OR ROCK MUSIC. wth. then everything i listen to pop, my dad will start scolding like "WHY YOU LISTEN TO ALL THESE RUBBISH SONGS BLAH BLAH WHERE IS YOUR CLASSICAL MUSIC? THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULDNT HAVE JOINED BAND BLAH BLAH BLAH. " and it all comes down to BAND IS NO GOOD FOR YOU. YOU SUCK IN BAND. YOU SHOULD CHANGE CCA. YOUR SENIORS ARE A BAD INFLUENCE. YOU SHOULD GO AND DIE.

fine i really feel like going and die lah.

4. i dont know what's communication ANYMORE. i go home and hardly talk to my parents. the ONLY way we communicate is she scold scold scold. i dont even feel like retaliating anymore lah. im tired and sick of it. like wth.

5. our class. it's still like super scattered and nobody gives a damn. like nobody even gives an effort to go and try to mix around lah. why cant our class be abit more united like 208. we cant even decide if we want to wear class tee or p.e. tee for a simple occasion like CSM. we even QUARREL over a small thing like that. wth. can some of you stop being so pathetic? even if you dont like it, either one party has to give right? for CSM we could have all just wore class tee or all of us wear pe tee and then FORGET about it. it's just a simple matter lah. does how you look determine your character and your heart?

6. referring to the above matter, i think most of us are blinded by the outlooks and first impression of people, so much to the extend that we dont even bother to give a second chance to the person and to see if he or she is really what we thought of. fine first impressions are important, but that doesnt really determine your lifepath or something. it only carries like 30% of determination of what you'll do in life lah. and some of us is like: "oh that girl looks so beeetchy. she must be one." that kind of thing. rawwr.

7. im still dissappointed about band lah. it's like for the past 4 months we've been like putting in alot of effort and practising like sheeet for our band concert and NO ONE EVEN CARES. no one's supporting us lah. can you all like just think about what happens behind the scenes, where we put in our heart, our sweat and our time for this concert, hoping and wishing only for 2 whole hours of your full support that very sunday night at vch. and you guys are like : "$10 so ex!" dont tell me you so poor until you cant save up for that amount of money lorh. compared to your monthly allowance it's like peanuts lah! you every weeks save up $2 and all together you'll only need like 5 weeks to save up to $10 for our concert. the most our concert ticket can go up to is about $15?!?! even if we're not a very good band with gold with honours and all that but we took alot of pain to put up this concert and this is the type of response we get. wth.

8. same goes for the family concert. look. almost half of our class is performing and the name list of who wants to go for ny family concert is STILL EMPTY. if our own classmates dont even support us, how can you expect people from public to come support us too? and the money is not for the performing arts benifit lah. most of it GOES TO THE NANYANG FAMILY? and your not even supporting your own school. very nice. call yourself a nanyang girl. and you guys dont even think about the hard work and the effort that our performing arts groups have put in for the concert lah. a simple look of the prices of tickets scares you away. but the money that you pay cant pay back for our time ok. does the ticket still look ex to you?

9. food and funfair. again, i bet alot of your funfair tickets are just lying on your desks or in your bags. aargh. can you guys just make an effort to try and sell your tickets? some people just dont give a damn lah. bloody hell. the funfair is for our own school's benefit and also for charity. and you're not even doing your part to help your school to raise funds. how do you expect the school to have enough money to go and do all the repainting and the repair work? and some of you still complain that you want new coms or printers in everyclass during the dialouge session. but have you even asked yourself if you have made an effort to help the school raise funds? the school is barely surviving on this thin thread and you guys still dont care. and you expect better facilities? we're not like acsi or acs barker who are so rich that they can still effort new facilities even if they do not raise funds lah. we're not that rich can? i think the point is you guys shouldnt be so selfish lah. this food anf funfair thing was made to let us have fun and raise funds at the same time. but we shouldnt slack to the extend that we dont even care if there's a food and funfair or not. if you want to have fun, you've got to put in a little effort. simple as that.

no big deal. we had flag raising while the hc band played nat anthem. SOUNDS ABIT WRONG ARH. then the crasher (i think he's sec 1) so small and crash until no strenght like that. erms. :/

then me, grace and lynn went to get the ny funfair tickets to sell. then HCI NCC performed. i think they're VERY ZAI3. although still got some mistakes but still very zhen3 qi2 and they're better than last year's performance lah. hmm the HC band also. better then last year. at least they sound better. but the national anthem I THINK OUR BAND CAN DO ALOT BETTER THAN THEM ARH.

i tell you arh. HCI AND HCJC AND HC INTERNATIONAL PEOPLE ARE NOT NICE ONE OK. even the COUNCIL PEOPLE IS NOT NICE. they HCJC boys will like just DAO you and walk past like nobody's business. what the. then got some hc se 1s very cute but VERY MEAN. then got this hc boy who was a complete stranger to us, POKED LYNN. waLIAO. DONT ANYHOW VIOLATE LYNN'S BODY ARH. tsk.

but we still managed to sell 3 tickets and one of them was bought by KY AND CO. (aww liuyi! see our ototo so nice!) yup. THANKS ALOT!

then we saw alot of people. like clara lu, weilong, shaun, ding, ky, edward, hao jie, ben, jonathan.... ya and i saw YIHUANG AND CHIAMING and 2 other JC 2 percussion seniors whom im not very close to. haha.

basically i was just walking around the whole school. quite boring but quite fun to see grace and lynn cornering people at the same time. o.O

lynn's fav phrase: "BUY OR DIE" but the boys chose the latter.

then hc band performed! i have to say they improved ALOT ALOT. they were SUPER COOL. and they looked very shuai and zai3. they played THE INCREDIBLES AND PERSIS and some other songs i dont know. THEY LOOKED VERY ZAI!!!!!!!!!!

they're a good band to look at but not a good band to listen. cause i couldnt hear the trumpets for persis lah! i could only hear alot of percussion and THE BASSES FOR PERSIS VERY STRONG! THE LAST PART SUPER LOUD CAN! PRO PEOPLE. but overall the volume of loudness is still not there lah.

BUT THE STANDARD IS THERE. oh sheesh.

i dont care OUR CONCERT HAS TO BE BETTER THAN THAT. AT LEAST WE'LL BE A GOOD BAND TO LISTEN AND A GOOD BAND TO SEE. (:

then the council was good. I KEPT CHEERING LAH. i didnt realised i liked cheering so much. it just keeps me high. then I SAW CHRISTAL AND ANDREA PLAYING THE SUSPENDER AND BONGOS FOR US. cause hcjc got CO DRUMS mah. so we must have BONGOS. but not very loud lah. compared to HCJC. ):

csm ended at 1030. NANYANG WON THE STAFF NOVELTY RACE! WOOOHOOO!

then me lynn liuyi sok shena yiwei grace yixian bernice zi hui and mrs koh went to the prata man to eat prata! (duh.) then we ordered milo dinosaur! NICE. then me sok lynn liuyi and mrs koh took 67 back. sok and mrs koh went home. me, lynn and liuyi decided to go to junction 8 to shop!

yay we took mrt to bishan and shopped! me and liuyi decided to get same earrings BUT COULDNT cause we saw this earring we liked but only got one pair left! so i took the earring and liuyi took yellow hoops which looked nice qand sweet on her. i think i look weird with my new earrings! i dunno why. but lynn and liuyi says i look nice. o.O

AND THANKS TO LYNN AND LIUYI I GOT DANGLING EARRINGS WITH STUTS! YAY I LOVE YOU GUYS LOTS. (:

then we bought a pair of earrings for jessica MY SWEET MORTAL'S birthday and bought joey hok's present. then we bought something for lynn also. lalala. then we went home at 3.00 and i had piano lesson.

i forgot to add. the sec 3s are in charge of concert this year. so that means they're in charge of all the advertising and the designs for concert ticket and concert booklet. then yesterday lunch time the sec 3s we're forming the number 10 in the quadrangle and melissa was taking the photo from upstairs. SO CUTE LAH. then they also wrote the words NYCB on a white piece of paper and found big snails to line them on the side of the paper. OH MAN SO CUTE. haha. then melissa was taking the sign of our band room the m4-01 sign thingy. haha. i think this years concert booklet will be groovy.

and i think our band very groovy can? it's like although bands like dunman high sounds nice and is a gold with honours band, their concert ticket and concert booklet are of so lousy design lah! and they dont even bother to do a design for them. but i think if you want a concert, do it properly and present it nicely for people lah. i mean, PEOPLE ARE PAYING TO COME FOR YOUR CONCERT AND YOUR ATTITUDE IS YOU DONT BOTHER. wth?
